What an exciting and busy term this has been!  Highlights have included our Edu-Dance, Sports competitions, our fantastic results in the Have Sum Fun competition, the Lighthorse Battalion visit, receiving a $60 000 Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Grant, our cooking and gardening lessons, the Smith Family Reading program, Mathletics, the School Readiness Program, Harmony Week, Student Leadership Conference, $150 000 received through an election commitment to upgrade our network, the stimulus package providing us with an opportunity to apply for a new assembly and multipurpose building and a new library and the list goes.

Staff have also worked extremely hard and the quality of the teaching and learning is very evident in the Performance Management, the displays of work, collaborative planning, moderation, data analysis, collegiality and so on.  A big thank you to all teachers and education assistants. The school also cannot function without an efficient and professional administrative staff and a huge thank you to Raewyn, Rowan and Lyne who always do far more than what is expected in their roles.  Finally, to our cleaners, Del, Julie and Delana and Luke, your hard work in providing us with a clean, tidy and hazard free environment is very much appreciated.

Finally, to our students and families, thank you for your support.  We wish you an enjoyable and safe break and look forward to seeing you back on
Wednesday 29th April.
